To provide and improve our service, we collect limited personal information directly from you when you register and set up your profile:

• Account Information: Name, Username, and Email Address. We utilize Google Sign-In authentication solely to verify authentic email addresses and prevent fake accounts.
• Profile Details: Gender, Date of Birth, Country Name, and Country Flag preference fetched via online APIs.
• User-Provided External Social Links: Social platform usernames or profile links (e.g., WhatsApp, Telegram, or other messaging handles) that you choose to showcase on your profile.

2. Location & Device Data

No Precise Location Tracking: LinkeeApp does NOT request, collect, or track your real-time GPS or device precise location data. Country information is selected by you or retrieved through general network parameters for user profile display.

3. App Permissions Requested

Our Android application requests minimal permissions strictly necessary for functional performance:

• Internet & Network State: Required to communicate with backend servers, load user profiles, and sync data.
• Post Notifications: Used strictly to send system alerts, updates, and service notifications (you can manage or disable this in device settings).
• Foreground & Boot Permissions: Used solely to ensure reliable background message delivery and push notification initialization via Firebase.

4. How Messaging Works & External Redirection

LinkeeApp functions as a global discovery and networking platform. We do not host private in-app chat servers for messaging. Instead, when you tap to contact another user, LinkeeApp triggers an external Intent action (e.g., Action View) directing you to the specific third-party social media platform (such as WhatsApp) configured on that user’s profile.

5. Third-Party Services

We use trusted third-party service providers to support our core infrastructure:

• Google Play Services & Google Sign-In: For secure user authentication and app integrity.
• Firebase (FCM, Analytics, Services): For delivering push notifications, crash analytics, and service maintenance.

These service providers have access to your information only to perform specific tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.

6. Account Deletion Rights

We respect your ownership of your data. You have the right to delete your LinkeeApp account and all associated profile information at any time directly within the app.

To delete your account, open the app, navigate to Profile Settings > Delete Account (`DeleteAccActivity`), and confirm your request. Once deleted, your personal profile data will be permanently removed from our active database.

7. Advertisements and Pricing

LinkeeApp is currently provided as a 100% free software application. While the app may display minimal advertisements in future updates to support operational costs, no personal chat histories or private communications are monitored or mined for advertising target purposes.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our app functionalities or legal obligations. We will notify users of any changes by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this policy. You are advised to review this page periodically for any updates.
